Police stage Flag March in curfew areas of Ferozepur, DC-SSP appeals to stay at home
Ferozepur, April 12, 2020: Police took out a flag march in the city during the curfew imposed in the city in the wake of coronavirus.
Flag march is more or less like a patroling by the army troops with full gear in an area which has curfew imposed. It’s objective is to show the presence of the Armed forces in the area in order to prevent further chaos by the mob
Flag March was headed by SP Baljit Singh along with a heavy force with an aim to give a message to the residents to stay inside their homes to prevent the spread of coronavirus. Patrolling by the police 24×7 is also carried out to keep a strict vigil on the unnecessary and unauthorized moving of the people during the curfew.
Making an appeal to the residents to stay home to remain safe during the curfew, DC Kulwant Singh informed that so far Ferozepur is free from any positive corona case as all the lab tests have been reported as negative. Only with the cooperation of citizens, we can maintain the status of zero cases of the virus in the city and win over the coronavirus threat. People should come out only with proper curfew pass only in emergent cases that too with proper covering the face with a mask and sanitizing the hands frequently.
SSP Bhupinder Singh has also appealed to the people to cooperative with the district and police administration and no violation of curfew will be tolerated.
