Counter Intelligence arrests smuggler with heroin, drug money

Ferozepur, December 7, 2017:  The Counter Intelligence staff got the success in arresting one person with heroin and Indian currency as drug money.

Giving the details in the press conference held by Narinder Pal Singh Sidhu,, AIG CI said the police party including Inspector Paramjit Singh, Sub Inspector Tarlochan Singh and ASI Jatinderjit Singh were going to village Attari to Wahka in connection with the special checking of suspected men.

 

 On the way, when the police party reached outside the village Wakilan, the car driver Gurwinder Singh on Swift vehicle number PB-05-Q-1513, coming from the opposite direction Singh son Bakhshish Singh, resident of Basti Ram Lal Sadar Firozpur district, has tried to run away on seeing the police party by taking the U-turn swiftly but he was stopped by putting the police vehicle before him.

He said that after the search of the arrested person, 265 grams of heroin was seized from the pocket of his pocket wrapped in a plastic paper along with Rs.13.70 lac from the car as drug money in Indian currency.

He further said that the accused during the preliminary investigation has admitted that he had been smuggling heroin on a large scale for the last 6 months.

 

A case has been filed by the State Special Operation Cell (SSOC) Fazilka, New Delhi Police Station No 02, dated 06 Dec 2017, A / d 21/25/61/85, in the newly built by Police Department Intelligence Wing. DPS The act has been registered and the prosecution has continued to be questioned.
