Shaheed Memorial Society dedicates Play Festival to Martyrs
Students – the capital of our country –
should keep themselves away from social evils : Kamal Sharma
Ferozepur, March, 19 : Shaheed Bhagat Singh Rajguru Sukhdev Memorial Society dedicated 11 days programme to mark the 85th Martyrdom Day on March 23 at Hussainiwala.
In this context, Play Festival was organized at local Shaheed Bhagat Singh State Technical Campus- dedicated to the memory of martyrs- “Butt Jaag Piya”, “Shevan Dariya” & “Aakhir Kado Tak”- were organized by Red Arts Moga, students of the campus headed by Navdeep Kaur and choreography directed by Prof. Sunil Behal and Chandigarh School of Drama. All the plays left a message against the social evils for the society.
The Chief Guest of the function was Kamal Sharma, Punjab BJP President. Among others present on this occasion were Jugraj Singh Katora, District President BJP, Ashwani Grover, President Municipal Council. Prof.Gazalpreet Singh, Chief Coordinator, Prof.Munish Kumar, Vishal Sharma, Navdeep Kaur and Prof. Rahul Gupta.
Kamal Sharma after formally inaugurating the Play Festival said, the efforts of Memorial Society are appreciable to motivate the students to contribute for the welfare of the country. He appealed to the students the capital of the country, to keep themselves away from the social evils.
He also invited one and all to participate in the Shaheedi Mela on March 23 when Prime Minister Narendra Modi is visiting Hussainiwala on his maiden visit after becoming PM.
