Pall of gloom descends in Block Mamdot, Brother-Sister drown in village pond

Ferozepur, June 19, 2016:  There was a pall of gloom descended  in village Pojo Ke Uttar in Mamdot block near Ferozepur when brother and sister both drowned in a village pond.

Giving information, Vikramjit Singh, Saranch of the village said, on Saturday late evening, his uncle Kulwant Singh’s two kids – Luvpreet Singh, (4) and Rekha (6) – who were playing in the house, when their pet dog entered the pond, also jumped into the pond and drowned. On shouting of a passerby, I evacuated both the children and took them to Ferozepur for medical aid, where the doctors declared them brought dead.
