Padmavati Movie Controversy: Let religion be confined to people’s home!
It is not for the first time that a controversy has cropped up for a movie. But for Padmavati movie controversy, what is most baffling about the entire show going is the fact that those who are agitating to ban the have not even seen it.
Thus, there is no question of depicting the Rajput queen in poor light. It looks that some information has been leaked of the so-called scene. Bhansali is not that immature to retain such scenes in this movie if it is so.
At the first hand, it looks ridiculous when the movie is yet to be released. The allegations are that the smoke screen created to divert attention from the Rafael del which was supposedly tweaked by the Modi government to favour the Ambani brothers.
More shocking is that the CMs of states – Rajasthan, Gujarat and UP have sided with the agitators on the issue instead of framing some laws. But if PM continues to maintain his silence on this hot issue, these elements only be encouraged further.
Not only the people are threatening to cut off the head of the film’s director and leading actress, yet the PIM is silent and this does not behave well for a democratic country.
Frankly speaking, it is the right time to take a fresh look at our Constitution for complete separation of state from religion. The first step could be to ban all religious holidays, banning quotas and in this way, we can reverse the brain drain. But these steps are not easy to be taken a bold mind is required by the PM without bothering for his political future career.
Since long, religion has been dividing us and today the divisions are becoming more dangerous. Let the religion confined to people’s home to avoid a forest fire.
