One death, 43 fresh COVID-19 +ve cases reported in Ferozepur

Ferozepur, April 19, 2021: Amid the raging second wave of the COVID-19, on Monday, 43 fresh Corona positive cases have been reported with three deaths in the district, taking the tally of active positive cases in the district to 644 and 1,057 fresh cases during April.

As per the information, 1,21,310samples were taken since the outbreak of the virus in this part, out of which 1,09,449 were found negative, 6,346 positive, 5,515 recovered and 644 active as of now.  Whereas, the results of 220 samples were still awaited.

With one reported on Monday, in Ferozepur, the total tally has gone 187 including one of 56 years old in the City.

In the Corona vaccination drive, 52,168 have been given the first and second dose of 45 plus years of age and frontline and health workers.
