One 96 years old female death and 19 Corona positive cases reported in Ferozepur

Ferozepur, March 24, 2021:  During the month of March 266 Covid-19 positive cases including 19 on Wednesday has been reported with an active toll reached to 176, while the report of 954 samples is still awaited.

The district administration has intensified the sample testing and strict over wearing of masks by all on moving out of the houses.

As per information, 105229 samples were taken in the district and 99270 were found negative, 5005 positive, 4670 recovered and 176 still active in the district.  However, 954 sample testing report is still awaited.  Due to Corona, there had been 159 deaths including one on Wednesday of 96 years old female in Block Guruharsahai.

So far as Covid vaccination, against 21675 registration, 18054 persons of 45 plus have been given the first and second dose of vaccination which comes to 83.2 percent, said DIO.
