NRI arrested in making false story of missing/dead wife to usurp her insurance policy worth Crores
Ferozepur, July 1, 2015 : In a Press conference Sh. Hardial Singh Mann, IPS, Senior Superintendent of Police, Ferozepur informed that under the Supervision of Sh. Hardev Singh, PPS, DSP/Zira the Police Party of Police Station Makhu received a secret intelligence that Jaswinder Kaur @ Rimpy w/o Amrit Rajput @ Lucky r/o Calgary (Canada), returned India in November-2014 and there was an insurance policy against the name of Jaswinder Kaur @ Rimpy worth INR-07,20,00,000/- in Canada.
On dated 07.01.2015, Amrit Rajput @ Lucky r/o Calgary (Canada) and her wife Jaswinder Kaur @ Rimpy w/o Amrit Rajput with the help of Inderjeet Singh, Narinderjeet Singh sons of Daljeet Singh, Daljeet Singh s/o Daulat Singh, Gagan w/o Inderjeet Singh, Doli w/o Narinderjeet Singh all are residents of Adarsh Nagar, Ward No.9, Dharamkot, Distt Moga and their other relatives after mutual consent to usurp the amount of Insurance Policy, made a false story that Jaswinder Kaur @ Rimpy was missing. After that they made Jaswinder Kaur @ Rimpy's false missing report in Police Station Makhu. Meanwhile a dead body of unknown lady was found from the river of Police Station Sanghariyan (Rajasthan) then Amrik Singh @ Lucky and other persons involved in this criminal conspiracy identified the dead body as Jaswinder Kaur @ Rimpy and action under section 174 Cr.P.C was taken under consideration.
On receipt of this secret intelligence, FIR No.100 dated 30.06.2015 U/s 420, 120-B IPC PS Makhu registered and investigating the matter in depth Jaswinder Kaur @ Rimpy arrested from the Bus Stand, Dharamkot. In preliminary investigation, Jaswinder Kaur @ Rimpy revealed that she and her husband with the help of her 02 brothers (Inderjeet Singh, Narinderjeet Singh), father Daulat Singh and 02 sister-in-law (Gagan w/o Inderjeet Singh, Doli w/o Narinderjeet Singh) made intentional ploy to made false missing report of mine and after that I (Rimpy) used to live at Balachaur area and my husband Amrik Rajput moved back to Canada. But now he returned India. Other accused in this case are yet to be arrested. Further investigation is going on and there may be further revelations.
