NGO organized “Multi-Purpose Seminar” at Zero Line Govt. School Gatti Rajo Ke in Ferozepur

Ferozepur, May 27, 2017:  To create awareness among the students about health, education and skill development programmes in border area villages situated near Zero Line near Indo-Pak border, a seminar was organized at Govt. Senior Secondary School, Gatti Rajo Ke, 16 km from Ferozepur.

As many as, 200 students of 10th, Plus One and Two students participated in the seminar organized by Streamline Welfare Society, known for social activities in the district.

Diwan Chand Sukhija, President, SWC, Harish Monga, social activists, D.R.Goyal and K.C.Gahotra put wiser the students about the importance of health and education in one’s life besides learning the skilled works to stand on their own fee after completion of school education. The students were motivated with their motivational lectures.  All the speakers stressed upon to study with dedication besides adopting the rich moral values in their life, to become a successful person.

Dr.Satinder Singh, Principal, – National Awardee – welcoming the guests said, such programmes from time to time are helpful the students for personality development especially in the remote areas as the growth of the border villages is only possible with the development of education.

Five talented students of the school were honoured by the NGO for expressing their personal message-able views on – How to save environment polluting day by day and Female Foeticide.

For over-all development of the schools and preparing the students for participation in such programme, to express their hidden talents in such programmes is the dedicated staff of the school namely – Sukhwinder Singh, Geeta, Rajesh Kumar, Meenakshi, Shruti Meht, Joginder Singh, Lalit Sharma, Davinder Kumar, Pritpal Singh, Viay Bharti, Shinder Pal Singh and Lakwinder Singh –
