Need to explore the unexplored multifaceted personality of Bhagat Singh : Gurjit Kaur Dhatt
Hussainiwala/Ferozepur, September 28, 2017: Gurjit Kaur Dhatt niece of Shaheed Bhagat Singh was here to pay floral tributes at National Martyrs’ Memorial at Hussainiwal on 110th Birth Anniversary celebrations.
Both, Imtiaz Rashid Qureshi, Advocate and Chairman Bhagat Singh Memorial Foundation in Pakistan and Gurjit Kaur Dhatt niece of Bhagat Singh were taken in an open jeep from Saragarhi to Hussainiwala in an open jeep followed by motor-cycle rally led by Jaswinder Singh President, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Rajguru Sukhdev Memorial Foundation passing through the Cantt and City circular roads.
Speaking to the media persons, Gurjit Kaur Dhatt said, Bharat is not as per multifaceted personality and vision of Bhagat Singh. Their mission was all are economically equal and difference between rich and poor is widening.
She said, secondly, after the independence of India, the leaders in power have not given proper healthy atmosphere to the country. They don’t make the martyrs’ as role model hero – who sacrificed their lives for the freedom of the nation. Today’s generation would follow only if they are recognized as role model.
Gurjit Kaur further said, after witnessing the working of the present day leaders, the youths are of the view why to work and sacrifice when there is no recognition of a honest man, just accumulate the money by illegal means. But it was not the dre
She said, the people have not forgotten the martyrs but the governments have put them at the back end. The leaders fear to name those sacrificed their lives and if they follow them, the dishonest persons cannot survive.
Still there is a need to explore the unexplored multifaceted personality of Bhagat Singh, she added.
