Nagar Kirtan marks Parkash Parv of Guru Gobind Singh

Fazilka, January 3, 2017: The 350th Parkash Parv of 10th Guru Gobind Singh was celebrated by local Gurdwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha Dehradun today led by Panch Pairas.

Giving this information Bhai Davinder Pal Singh, Chief Sewadar said, a nagar kirtan started from Gurudawara Singh Sabha ended back at Gurudawara on enroute to Gaushala Rad, Sanjee Cinema, Ghanta Ghar Chowk and Ram Kirtan Mandir and welcomed by the local people and various organizations by decorating the both sides of the roads and gates at different places.  The ‘parshad’ was also distributed on the way of narag kirtan.

A large number of people had lined up alongside the route to have a the darshan of Guru Maharaj ke Swaree.  Sikh youths also presented a fine display of gatka, which was appreciated by the spectators.

Present among others on this occasion were Mohinder Singh Khalsa, Balbir Singh Kanwaljit Singh, Gurjinder Singh, Baljit Singh, Jarnail Singh, Paramjit Singh and local citizens.
