39 economically weak talented girls from govt and aided schools to get Pratibha Scholarship for 3 years
Ferozepur, June 18, 2024: Mayank Foundation, a leading social service organization of Ferozepur district, released the poster of Pratibha Kanya Scholarship Program ‘Pratibha’ in the Annual General Meeting to encourage higher education after school for girl students from economically weaker sections.
Project Coordinator Vinesh Galhotra said that the purpose of this scholarship is to provide financial assistance to needy girls of border districts so they can continue higher education after school.
Principal Sanjeev Tandon said that under the Pratibha Kanya Scholarship, scholarships of Rs 10,000 per year have been given continuously to the economically weaker section. Still, talented girl students of the society since 2020 and this year also a total of 39 girl students including 13 new girl students will be given scholarships of Rs 3.90 lakh.
Deepak Sharma, Founder MF, informed us that a written exam will be conducted, and marks for classes 10th and 12th will be added to the selection process. Pratibha Scholarship is for those students who have passed class 10th in the year 2022 and class 12th in the year 2024 only from government and aided schools of Ferozepur district. The written exam will be conducted on 14th July 2024. Preference will be given to female students of economically weaker sections who will get higher ranks in the written exam. The last date to apply is 30th June 2024. Once selected, the candidate will be given a scholarship of Rs 10,000 per year for 3 years.
