Malbros Liquor Factory security guard booked on Court Process Server’s complaint
Ferozepur, June 19, 2024: The security guard of Malbros Liquor Factory Dilbagh Singh, on the complaint of Balvir Singh, Process Server in the court of Amandeep Civil Judge Senior Division, Zira, who was abused and manhandled when he had gone to serve the summons in the name of Rohit Sethi, Director, Malbros International Pvt Ltd Mansoorwal, Zira.
The Process Server had gone to the factory to serve the court summons on June 15, 2024 when the Security Guard Dilbagh Singh abused him and thrashed him out of the factory. Thus the security guard tried to create obstacle in performing the official duties.
Roman Brar Mahianwala Kalan who is actively leading the Sanjha Morcha said the National Green Tribunal (NGT) has also fixed July 2 and appealed to the government to properly put up the claim over the working of Maolbros Liquor Factory.
The police taking cognizance of the incident and statement of the Process Server have booked the Security Guard of Malbros International Pvt Ltd Mansoorwal, Zira, under Sections 353 (obstruction of public servants )and 186 (Whoever voluntarily obstructs any public servant in the discharge of his public functions)of IPC 1860 and further investigations are on with the IO.
He, however, said, our sit-in dharna is going to complete two years protesting for the closure of the factory which has polluted the environment and water of the area. We are holding a massive protest on July 24 over a huge gathering at the dharna in front of the factory.
