Kulbir Singh Zira from third generation to give tough fight as Congress candidate from Zira – files nominations today
Ferozepur, January 13, 2017 : Kulbir Singh Zira son of Inderjit Singh Zira is from the third generation of the family – former Congress MLA known as dedicated leader of Congress party – today filed nominations for Assembly elections from Zira as Congress candidate.
Both the main political parties – SAD and Congress – in Punjab are projecting kin of some of the prominent political figures to promote the dynasty politics.
The family is serving Zira constituency socially, politically as well as on the religious grounds.
Raja Warring All India National Youth Congress National President and MLA was also accompanied Kulbir Singh Zira and his father Inderjit Singh Zira at the time of filing of nominations.
Kulbir Singh Zira is confident to win over the other two candidates – Hari Singh Zira of SAD and Gurpreet Singh Gora of AAP.
While Hari Singh Zira is old timer leader of SAD – four time winner and certain to win against the young candidates with comfortable margin, AAP candidate Gurpreet Singh Gora hopes to win taking the advantage of wave in favour of AAP in Punjab.
Speaking to the media persons, Kulbir Singh Zira said, the anti-incumbency factory will help him of course, as people are fed up with poor goverane and politics of vendetta of SAD and are prepared to bring in power Congress led by Captain Amarinder Singh in Punjab.
