Kamal Sharma flagged off Special Train from Ferozepur for Sri Hazoor Sahib(Naded) under Mukh Mantri Tirath Yatra

Ferozepur, July 25, 2016: As a part of the ongoing religious Mukh Mantri Tirath Yatra programme envisaged under guidance of Punjab Chief Minister a special train for Sri Hazoor Sahib (Naded) under Mukh Mantri Tirath Yatra was flagged off today by Kamal Sharma, former BJP President where Bhai Gurmukh Singh Jathedar of Damdma Sahib Talwandi Sabo, Kamal Sharma and DC FErozepur DPS Kharbanda were also present at Ferozepur Cantt railway station.

Speaking on the occasion, Kamal Sharma said, the initiative of the Punjab Government to arrange pilgrimage for devotees to various religious places out of the state is appreciable which will pass on the rich cultural legacy of Punjab to its future generations.  He said, the Punjab Government has always been giving priority to the welfare of the people.

Er.DPS Kharbanda, DC Ferozepur said, around 1000 devotees have joined the ‘Tirath Yatra’ and arrangements for Langar during the journey period has also been arranged through the railways without any charges.

Before the departure of the train, Kirtan of the holy Gurbani by the Raghi Sahiban at the station was also arranged. The devotees will witness the chanting of hymns through audio CDs to be played in the train.

An unprecedented crowd was witnessed at the railway station today. The district administration and the railway authorities honoured each and every pilgrim on this occasion with a siropa.

One of the devotee said that this Yatra would prove to be a boon for all those who remained deprived of taking long distance religious journeys for want of finances.
