Jail inmate booked on recovery of two mobiles
Ferozepur, September 17, 2021: During the search operation carried out by Gurbachan Singh, Assistant Superintendent Central Jail, working swiftly on the input, one mobile was recovered from under trial prisoner Prince Ahuja of Samsung brand key-pad and one from the old barrack number 11 of Kachoda. Both the phones were found with batteries and SIM cards.
The most wanted banned item inside the jail is mobile to remain connected with the outside world of four-walls, for various reasons. but smuggling in of mobiles has put a question mark on the security arrangements. Recently, mobile wreckage was found from inside the jail.
Meanwhile, a case under Section 52-A of the Prisons Act has been registered with Kuldeep Singh as IO and further investigations are on.
