It’s all work for men in Khaki – arrest 2 POs, one under NDPS Act in Ferozepur
Ferozepur, March 16, 2023: The men in khaki at nearly all levels are forced to deal with in addition to the stress of handling notorious criminals, protests, murders and riots to keep the city and state safe for its people, with 24×7 hrs duty.
The cops in Khaki in Ferozepur are active in the district with an aim to maintain law and order by working on zero-tolerance policy; it may be drugs, arresting proclaimed offenders, illegal mining and so many offences by the criminals.
Divulging with today’s achievement, Randhir Kumar, SP(D) informed that one proclaimed offender (PO) – Nirvair Singh of village Chabba in Zira block, declared PO under section 299 Cr.PC and NDPS Act in connection with recovery of 550 habit forming tablets and 20 gm heroine.
In another case under the Mining and Mineral Act, a case has been registered against the unknown persons under Arif Ke police station. However, 2 tractors and 2 trolleys filled with sand were recovered while the accused involved in illegal mining fled away from the scene.
In its third achievement of today, two accused – Manish Kumar of Mukatsar and Dhiraj Kumar of Rajasthan were arrested with recovery of one kg of opium each from them.
SP(D) said the campaign against the anti-social elements, criminals, and drugs would continue in the district.
