International Panthak Dal demands removal of remaining 73 from Blacklist
Ferozepur, August 28, 2016 : International Panthak Dal in its important meeting held under the tutelage of Baba Satnam Singh Walia Punjab President, Religious Wing demanded the removal of remaining 73 people whose names are appearing in the blacklist chronicled in the government’s blacklist for their alleged involvement in subversive or anti-India activities.
Added here that the name of 225 Sikhs, have already been removed over the last four years, the pruning of which was done in a list of 298 Sikhs prepared at different levels by security agencies since 1980s.
While Baba Satnam Singh Walia thanked the government for removing the names of blacklist, he also demanded the same treatment for the remaining 73 Sikhs.
He further said, still certain Sikhs have been kept in the jails who have completed their sentence and they should also be released permanently.
Present in the meeting were Bhai Lakhwinder Singh Momi Panel Mem ber, District President, Kirpal Singh, District Secretary Gurnam Singh, Mukhtiar Singh, Baba Arur Singh, Darshan Singh, Gurmej Singh, Sarabjit Singh, Surinder Singh, Amarjit Singh and others.
