Home for the Blinds Ferozepur inmate gets Music Teacher appointment

Ferozepur, May 5, 2017:  Rajesh Kumar from Ferozepur is one of 162 visually impaired who have been given Music Teacher appointment against ETT teacher’s posts in Punjab Education Department.

Suresh Arora, District Education Officer (Primary and Secondary) handed over Music Teacher appointment letter to Rajesh Kumar an inmate of Home for the Blinds, Ferozepur.

He said, in all 162 visually impaired Music Teachers have been appointment by the Punjab Government against ETT Teacher posts. However, 14 were absent against which the waiting seniority list new appointments will be issued.

Today, Rajesh Kumar visually impaired has been given the appointment as music teacher to joint at Govt. Primary School, Dulchi Ke.

Rajinder Kakkar, Supdt. Establishment Branch was also present on this occasion.

Speaking to media persons, DEO said, with the appointment of visually impaired as teachers in the education department, they will become self depended and will be a source of inspiration for the students.

Rajesh Kumar visually impaired expressed his happiness over the decision of the government to issue appointment to this class which was long awaited.
