Ferozepur, April 26, 2016: Three jathedars of Sarbat Khalsa were honoured today at Gurudawara Sahib at village Aale Wala on Ferozepur-Chandigarh road, under the tutelage of Jasbir Singh Bhullar, District President, Shiromani Akali Dalo (Amritsar).
On this occasion, Jathedar Dhyan Singh Mand, Acting President of Sarbat Khalsa, Bhai Amrik Singh Ajnala and Bhai Baljit Singh Daduwal Jathedar Damdama Sahib were also present.
Addressing the audience in good numbers, Bhai Dhyan Singh Mand said, “The hearts of Sikhs have been scratched, at the time of sedition of Shri Guru Granth Sahib. At that time, not only Sikhs but people of all religions have condemned but the government put behind the bars after arresting certain fake people and justified before the Sikh Sangat.
He said, when there was sacrilege of Shri Guru Granth Sahib, the existing jathedars of existing Punjab Government have given verdict in favour of chief of Dera Sachha Sauda, which was totally wrong. The entire Sikh community condemned at that time. Only after this wrong decision by the Punjab Government, the necessity has arisen to call Sarbat Khalsa at that time.
Jathedar Mand said, “He does not belong to any jathedar but he represents entire Sikh community.
Bhai Baljit Singh Daduwal Jathedar Damdama Sahib said, the existing government has always carried upon atrocities on Sikhs, which will not be tolerated at all.
Present among others on this occasion were Satnam Singh Manwaha, Stage Secretary, Bhai Balwant Singh Gopala, Lakhwinder Singh, Baba Bohar Singh Tootan Wale, Baba Balkar Singh, Bohar Singh Thind, Balwinder Singh, Iqbal Singh, Tejinder Singh Deol and Surat Singh Mamdot.
