Freedom Fighters’s daughter thanks CEO Cantt Board for quick action, hoist National Flag atop her house
Ferozepur, November 17, 2022: Freedom Fighter’s daughter thanked Chief Executive Officer, Cantonment Board, Promila Jaiswal, for redressing the grievances of covering the sewerage in front of her house, by taking a quick action, when brought to her notice, through a message on WhatsApp.
In fact, Satwinder Kaur (widow) daughter of S.Karam Singh Uppal, Freedom Fighter – who has great contribution in the movement of freedom of India, had been crying for covering of sewage pit in front of her house for so many years but on the last Independence Day – August 15, she did not hoist the National Flag to express her resentment despite the fact, the entire family had great respect for the Tri-colour and love for the country.
Taking cognizance of the situation and expressing resentment, CEO Cantonment Board, on coming to her notice, on getting a message, instantly ordered the needful and it was done on Wednesday (November 16) . Not only this, a photo clicked of the work done was also posted to Satwinder Kaur.
Satwinder Kaur feeling pleasure on getting relief from the irritation and foul smell from the open sewage pit, today hoisted the National Flag atop her house and thanked CEO Cantonment. The CEO also responded to the message – “We are only government servants. Always present to resolve the issues”.
