Khanna Nursing Home Hosts Annual Free Medical Camp in Tribute to Late Parents

Ferozepur, January 4 – Khanna Nursing Home organized a free medical camp today, offering consultations for skin, gynaecology, and surgical needs in honour of Dr. Naresh Khanna’s late parents, Shri Krishan Lal Khanna and Smt. Promila Khanna.

The camp, held from 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM, provided free medicines, ultrasounds, and lab tests as required, with expert input from Radiologist Dr Vikas Arora. The team included Dr. Naresh Khanna (Skin Specialist), Dr. Saroj Khanna (Obstetrician and Gynecologist), and Dr. Harsh Bholla (General Surgeon).

Dr. Khanna shared that this tradition began 20 years ago in memory of his late mother, Smt. Promila Khanna, on September 13 each year. Following the passing of his father, Shri Krishan Lal Khanna, in January 2020, the camp is now dedicated to both parents.

“What we are today is because of our parents. We feel blessed and proud to have been their children. This camp is our humble tribute to keep their memories alive and serve the community in their name,” Dr. Khanna said.

Hundreds of patients benefited from the initiative, with some advised to return for free follow-up consultations. Dr. Khanna affirmed that the annual camp would remain a regular feature in the years to come, embodying the values instilled by his parents.

The heartfelt initiative continues to honor the legacy of the Khanna family through dedicated community service.
