Former CM J-K Farooq Abdullah pays floral tributes at Martyrs’ Memorial Hussainiwala
Ferozepur, March 19, 2021: Former CM J-K Farooq Abdullah, who was in Ferozepur on a private visit, on Friday paid floral tributes at Martyrs’ Memorial Hussainiwala.
He was also accompanied by Rana Gurmit Singh Sodhi, Cabinet Minister, Punjab, Dr.Kamal Baghi, Anirudh Gupta CEO, OP Nandrayog, and Dr. Sheel Sethi.
Earlier on Thursday, Abdullah had paid tributes to the gallant martyr of the Battle of Saragarhi.
Today, he also inaugurated the Saragarhi Block at Dass and Brown School equipped with world-class facilities and appreciated the technical education being imparted to the students in this border town. Abdullah also had a round of the various departments of the school in Saragarhi Block of 11th and 112h class students.
Lauding the sacrifice of the martyrs, Abdullah said, we should always remember the sacrifices of our martyrs and follow their path. It is high time that both India and Pakistan should promote peace for the betterment of people.
