Fill up vacant posts of Principals in upgraded schools, demands Punjab Lecturers Union
Ferozepur, September 17, 2016: In an emergency meeting of the lecturers held at Malout, demanded from the Punjab government to promote the lecturers to the post of Principal as there are nearly 600 – 373 newly upgraded and 225 others school's – post are lying vacant in different parts of the State,
The education department is not functioning so well due to the shortage of heads in various schools.
Manohar Lal, Vijay Garg, Naib Singh, Dr.Hribhajan, Shivraj, Rajinder Singh Dhillon, Krishan Kumar, Khem Raj, Gurdeep Lal and Sukhdeep Kaur mmber of Punjab Lecturers Union said, the promotion process need to be expedited and the promotion quote of 75 per cent approved by the Punjab government be implemented besides allowing the ACP which has not been operational for the last three years.
