Ferozepur’s all-round student gets Rs.2 lac incentive from CM
Ferozepur, January 17, 2024: Rubab Sharma, an all-round student of Vivekananda World School (VWS), was awarded an incentive of Rs.2 lac by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and Sports Minister, Meet Heyer.
Giving detailed information regarding the above, the Director of the school, Dr. S. N. Rudra said, Rubab Sharma, is a student of class XII of the school, and participated in the 37th “Sake Martial Arts Competition”.
On winning the bronze medal while representing the state of Punjab, he was honored with an amount of Rs.2 lac by Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and Sports Minister Meet Heyer last day. By getting this honor, he has not only glorified the name of the school bright but also made the name of the entire district proud.
On this occasion, Dr. Rudra congratulated Rubab and his father Davinder Nath who is also his Guru and his mother Sonia and all the parents and teachers of the school and wished Rubab Sharma for his bright future.
It is pertinent to mention that Rubab Sharma represented India at the international level last year by participating in the kick boxing competition held in Italy.
