Ferozepur, April 23, 2022: An incident of firing has been reported in Housing Board colony late night Friday. There has been a spurt in firing incidents in Ferozepur as just five days back, two incidents of firing – one former Congress councillor was shot hitting his thigh and one minor 12 years old girl.
Today, the unidentified persons on Scorpio white colour car and one on motorcycle, fired 5 to 6 rounds outside the house of Suresh in Housing Board Colony. The police reached at the spot and further investigations are on.
Rani, resident of Housing Board colony informed that on hearing the firing around 12 pm on Friday night, went to open the door when her husband stopped me and we heard the voice from outside, to come out, as to how long you will hide yourself, I have been released from the jail now. We don’t have any enmity with anyone, she said.
Satwinder Singh Virk, SP informed that four-five persons have come on car and bike. We are scrutinizing the CCTV video to identify the persons and nab them.
