Ferozepur: One deaths, 133 new COVID-19 +ve cases
Ferozepur, May 30, 2021: Only one death has been reported due to Covid-19, after 27 days in the district and 133 new positive cases showing the signs of moving towards the normal position.
Three containment – 2 Gurursahai and one at Ferozepur Urban and 28 micro-containment zones – 5 at Mamdot, 10 Guruharsahai, 3Feroshah, 3 Kassoana, 7 Ferozepur Urban, are still under close observations.
As per the report, 1,71,321 samples were taken, since the outbreak of virus, out of which 1,58,206 were negative, 12,665 positive, 10,665 were recovered while 1,604 are active cases and reports of 450 samples are still awaited.
The only one death today is of 70 year old male in Block Guruharsahai of the district taking the tally to 396.
In the vaccination drive, today 9,567 persons were given Covid vaccine making the total as on date to 1,22,057 persons including the frontline and health workers taking the total vaccination.
