Ferozepur Former Congress MLA Zira’s pre-arrest bail rejected
Ferozepur, June 15, 2024: The Session Court has rejected the pre-arrest bail of Kulbir Singh Zira, former Congress MLA from Zira and District Congress President. Zira had recently lost the Lok Sabha elections contested from the Khadoor Sahib constituency as a Congress candidate.
Kulbir Singh Zira was booked under Sections 307, 447, 427, 107, 148, 149 of the IPC and Sections 25, and 27 of the Arms Act on June 6.
The court has dismissed the interim bail plea of Kulbir Singh Zira taking cognisance of the call details of the former MLA based on the C-TRACE Report of the investigating agency which established that Zira was in touch with the accused on the phone at the time of the incident.
