Ferozepur, July 18, 223: The District Badminton Championship-2023 for U-15 and U-17 (Boys & Girls) was concluded on its second day23 at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Stadium Indoor Badminton Hall, Ferozepur, organized by the District Badminton Association, Ferozepur .

The winners will  participate in the State Championship for both the categories which is going to be held at Samrala  in Ludhiana District, on July 24 -27.

In the event, 101 players – 81 boys and 20 girls from the different locations of the district have taken part in both Singles and Doubles games.

In Boys singles U-15 Singles Aarav Sachdeva is winner and Lovejeet Singh Jossan is runners, for Girls singles U-15 Japleen Kaur winner and Anshita is runners while in the Doubles U-15 for boys Aarav Sachdeva & Gurmaan Singh are winners and Lovejeet Singh & Dakshesh Arora Runners and for U-15 girls Japleen Kaur & Bhavya winners and Angel & Rhythm Runners.

In the Boys U-17 in singles Garv Kumar is the winner and Rohaan Jain runners and girls singles U-17 Inayat are the winners and Pankita runners. In the  Doubles U-17 boys Gurshaan Singh & Aaryan Arora are winners and Gitansh Chopra & Akshat Wadhawan runners and in the same category for girls Pankita & Inayat winners and Akshita & Bhavya Runners

District Badminton Association gets full cooperation from the District Sports Officer and their team to conduct the event smoothly.

Manoj Gupta Vice President thanks all for extending their cooperation  especially the Sports Department team to conduct this event smoothly.

Viney Vohra Secy DBA, Sanjay Kataria, Ashok Vodehra, Piyush Bhatia, Anoop Aggarwal and Dr Himanshu Monga were also present on the occasion. In the end DBA awarded prizes to all the winners and runners
