Ferozepur Congress Workers led by former MLA Pinki Protest Against Deteriorating Law and Order in Punjab

Ferozepur, September 1, 2024: In Ferozepur, Congress workers, led by former MLA Parminder Singh Pinki, staged a protest outside the SSP office, expressing their anger over the worsening law and order situation in Punjab. The protestors waved placards with slogans, highlighting their frustration.

Parminder Singh Pinki stated that the law-and-order situation in Punjab is rapidly deteriorating, with daily incidents of crime being reported. He emphasized that the major issue lies in the shortage of police personnel. He criticized the Punjab government for not recruiting enough officers, leaving the existing police force helpless. He urged the government to immediately start new police recruitments.

On another note, Pinki addressed Congress leader Ravneet Bittu’s controversial statements about Rahul Gandhi, accusing Bittu of making such remarks out of blind ambition. He remarked that Bittu would not be made a cabinet minister by giving such statements and reminded that the same Bittu once bowed before Rahul Gandhi but is now engaging in dirty politics. He added that Bittu owes his current position to the Congress.
