Ferozepur Badminton player tops in Punjab State Championship
Ferozepur October 31, 2017: Savreet Kaur, Badminton player from border town Ferozepur topped in Punjab State Championship by bagging four medals in the all-around and state ranking.
She will represent in Sub-Junior Badminton National to be held in Andhra Pradesh from 2-6 December 2017.
It may be mentioned here that Savreet is the first player from Punjab to participate in an under-15 competition.
District Sports Officer Balwant Singh and DBA President Manoj Gupta Munish Punj, Sanjay Kataria were present on the occasion.
Speaking to media persons, Savreet Kaur said, the credit for my achievements goes to DSO and parents despite getting less time for practice in the stadium. She added that she will shortly represent India in the forthcoming competitions and facilitate the name of district Ferozepur and country as well.
