Ferozepur ADM suspends licenses of multiple firms over violations
Ferozepur, March 12, 2025: The Additional District Magistrate (ADM) of Ferozepur, Dr. Nidhi Kumud Bambah, has suspended the licenses of several firms operating as consultancy agencies, IELTS coaching centers, travel agencies, ticketing agents, and general sales agents under the Punjab Prevention of Human Smuggling Act, 2012 and the Punjab Prevention of Human Smuggling Rules, 2013.
The suspended firms failed to renew their licenses at least two months before their expiration as required by law. Despite prior notices, they neither applied for renewal nor surrendered their expired licenses.
List of Suspended Firms and License Expiry Dates are Sunbeam Education & Consultancy Services – Expired on 07.01.2025, M/s Travel Duniya – Expired on 20.11.2024, M/s Moga British School of Language – Expired on 10.12.2024, M/s Paradise Immigration Consultancy – Expired on 05.01.2025, M/s Sethi Travel – Expired on 02.02.2025, and M/s Way Ahead Immigration Cooperative Pvt. Ltd. – Expired on 13.05.2024.
These firms have violated Section 5(2) of the Punjab Travel Professionals Regulation Act by continuing operations without valid licenses. Consequently, under Section 6(e) of the Act, their licenses have been immediately suspended with effect from today.
The ADM has issued a seven-day deadline for these firms to respond. Failure to submit a satisfactory reply within this period will result in unilateral action, including permanent cancellation of their licenses.
