Ferozepur : 6 deaths, 116 new COVID-19 +ve cases reported

Ferozepur, May 19, 2021:  On Wednesday, 8 deaths and 116 new Covid-19 cases were reported in the district.

As per the report, 1,51,439 samples were taken, since the outbreak of virus, out of which 1,39,665 were negative, 8,828 were recovered while 1,778 are active cases and reports of 850 samples are still awaited.

With 6 deaths today in the age group of 45-82 years – 2 females, 4 males in Ferozepur Urban, Zira, Ferozshah blocks were reported and , the total deaths in the district has gone to 328.

In the vaccination drive, around one lac persons have been given Covid vaccination of 18 plus age including the frontline and health workers.
