Ferozepur’s daily Covid cases plunge below 50 now

Ferozepur, June 15, 2021: The number of Covid-19 positive cases has been fluctuating in the district but now it has now dropped with only 39 positive cases reproved today with no death and 85 recoveries.

People have become conscious and serious now and following the corona guidelines but still there is a need to continue to follow the precautions even if the situation is normal, said the health official.

As per the report, 1,93,559 samples were taken in district, out of which 1,79,609 were tested negative, 13,743 positive, 12,840 recovered, 461 active cases.

There was no death reported today and death tally of the district is 441.

As of now, three containment zones and 31 micro containment zones with addition of 4 today, 34 are under observation of the health department and sampling in these areas have been intensified.

The Black Fungus ten cases have been reported in the district, out of which, t, with seven under treatment in this hospitals, 2 cured and one dead. There is no new case during the last five days.

In the vaccination drive, today 1,039 persons were given Covid vaccine making the total as on date to 1,38,528 persons including the frontline and health workers.
