FCI stage protest against Union Food Ministry
Ferozepur, April 29, 2016: The Staff of Bhartiya Khadya Nigam Karamchari Sangh Union of Food Corporation of India Launched a Nation wide agitation against their management and Food Ministry for not accepting and implementing their already agreed demands by the management & Ministry of Food.
The demands include – Parity in pay for Cat III & IV staff with Cat.II based fringe benefit, Implementation of Pension and post retirement medical scheme, Stop harassment to field staff staff on account of storage and transit losses, Formulation of own compassionate ground appointment policy in FCI, Sanction of watch and ward staff.
In this context a day long Dharna was held by staff at Local District office, FCI, Ferozepur which was addressed by Local Union leaders, Shri Shishu Pal Singh, Shri Shyam Sunder Meena, Shri Chaman Lal Gill, Shri R.K.Kapoor and Shivam Gupta also addressed the meeting Warning management of serious consequences arising due to agitation programme.
Shri A.S.Bhogal, Advisor to BKNK SANGH, Ferozepur while criticising the Ministry of Food and Food Minister for dilly-dallying the implementation of already accepted demands like pension and post retirement scheme without any legitimate reason. Shri Bhogal warned the management that this time the agitation will be taken to its logical end by observing indefinite hunger strike at FCI Headquarters and indefinite strike Nation wide till demands are implemented.
Shri Diwarker Gaur & Shri Dinesh Meena, President and Secretary of the District Unit of BKNK Sangh thanked the employees for their while hearted participations in the Dharna.
