Employment & Education Department jointly  organizes Mass Counseling of students in schools in Ferozepur

Counseling to students is the need of the hour : Kataria & Monga

 

PINDI SCHOOL MASS COUNSELING

Ferozepur (Pindi), November 7, 2015:  Employment and Education departments jointly have launched Mass Counseling programme for the passing out students of 10th, Plus 1 and Plus in government schools through the dedicated Resource Persons.

In this context, a Mass Counseling programme was organized at Government High School, Pindi near Guruharsahai, under tutelage of Jagsir Singh, DEO and supervision of Sandeep Singh Kamboj, District Guidance Councilor.

The key-note speakers were – Rajinder Kataria, Dy.Director(Fisheries) and Harish Monga, Pvt. Secretary (Retd.) Markfed.

While Rajinder Kataria highlighted the various courses available after 10th, Plus 1 & 2 and availability of easy loans from the banks with subsidy facility, Harish Monga stressed on completing the basic education with good standing.

Kataria said, time has great importance in life and it should be properly utilized by learning the skill works to stand on their on feet.  Present time is very crucial and the students must be serious in choosing their profession.

Harish Monga said, in the global competition era, the illiterates have no place.  The third generation has given lot of things to this world and now it is the turn of present generation to work hard, to give something new to the coming generation and it could only be possible with the dedication and devotion of youths towards the research and development works.

Umesh Kumar, Tehsil Guidance Incahrge appealed to the students to avail the various opportunities available for them at the district headquarters including joining in the Army.

Rinkal, Principal in her address thanked the district administration for arranging the programmes and honoured the Resource Persons

Present among others on this occasion were – Ved Parkash, Manohar Lal, Gundeep Kaur, Kamal Sharma and Davinder Nath.
