Educationist & Social Activist Kamal Sharma felicitated as Assitt Governor of Rotary Int’l 3090
Ferozepur, July 11, 2024: Kamal Sharma, the former President of Rotary Club Ferozepur Cantt, has been nominated as the Assistant Governor of Rotary International 3090, a world-renowned social service organization. On this occasion, District Governor 3090 Dr. Sandeep Chauhan made this selection by specially giving a certificate.
Newly appointed Assistant Governor Kamal Sharma said that this election has been done for the Rotary year 2024-2025. Apart from being a government teacher, Kamal Sharma is also a social worker and is always at the forefront of social welfare work. He is associated with most of the social and religious organizations of the area and with Mayank Foundation, Agreed Foundation, Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, Sukhdev Society, Siyaram Dramatic Club and Brahmin Sabha. In recognition of his work, he has been appointed Assistant Governor of Rotary International District 3090 for 2024-25.
Assistant Governor Kamal Sharma said that during the time when he was the President of Rotary Club Ferozepur, he started social work on a large scale which is still on-going, he was selected as the best President and best club this year.
During his period, especially marriage of poor girls, free insurance of Rs 1 lakh to needy students, organization of medical camp, blood donation camp, tree planting project during rainy season etc.
