Education Deptt organizes 7-days online workshop on ‘Write-Right’ under Padho Punjab Padhao Punjab project
Ferozepur, December 5, 2020: Punjab Education department in the district organized 7-days online workshop – Write-Right – for teachers under literacy drive to improve the handwriting of teachers who will further pass on this talent to the students, under Padho Punjab Padhao Punjab project.
It is necessary for the teachers first to know the techniques of good handwriting before giving training to the students.
During 7-days workshop from November 29 to December 5, the primary teachers were given online training about the writing techniques like shape of words, writing in straight line, spacing etc. In the training, the practice was made of writing 35 Punjabi alphabets in 9 sets which makes it easy to write other words also easily and clearly.
The primary teachers showed a keen interest for making their handwriting more beautiful. They said, such workshops to groom the personality of the teachers must be arranged from time to time as this will help them to pass on this talent to the students which will strengthen the bonding between the teachers and students.
The workshop organized under the tutelage of Sukhwinder Singh, Dy. DEO(E) along with and Mahinder Singh Shelly District Coordinator and Assistant Coordinator, Subhash Chander and team members by using the beautifully posters and power point presentation through video.
Dy. DEO (E) said it is a matter of pleasure that teachers have shown keen interest in improving their handwriting.
The teachers also lauded the initiative of the education department. They demanded that more such workshops be conducted from time to time to enhance the personality of the teachers.
