Edu Deptt holds induction training for 160 newly recruited teachers

Ferozepur, May 18, 2023: Addressing to the few newly recruited 4160 teachers inducted in the education department at Ferozepur, District Education Officer (DEO) Secondary Education Chamkaur Singh Sran while welcoming the newly said that young minds can bring positive changes in the dynamic education sector, as they have a lot to offer in the technology based modern education.

In his address to the newly appointed teachers who are undergoing induction training for 15 days at the District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), Ferozpur from May 15 to May 31, 2023, the DEO stressed that the teachers always need to adapt themselves to the new challenges to become successful in teaching profession.

In this workshop- cum- training, as many as 160 teachers of different subjects are undergoing training to know the professional and ethical nuances of the profession before joining their services in the government schools. Deputy DEO Pargat Singh Brar also acquainted the teachers about the expectations and aspirations of the students, officials and the stakeholders from them.

DIET Principal Seema Panchi, District Coordinator Gurwinder Singh and other resource persons from various schools were also present during the occasion.

Gurwinder Singh informed that these teachers will be geared up to adapt themselves to the new techniques to teach various subjects to bring about maximum learning among the students. Now, a teacher is no longer the sole controller of the class, rather he needs to fit himself to a new role of being a facilitator while the students are learning English through activities. The teachers need to have multiple roles up their sleeves.
