Distt. Team inspects Govt. Schools under “Sangat Darpan School Darshan”

 Ferozepur, November 19, 2016:  As per the special plan envisioned by the State Government to conduct grading and inspections across Senior Secondary and High Schools under “Sangat Darpan School Darshan” programme from November 15 to 19, the Ferozepur district tea today conducted inspection of Kadma Govt. High School in Mamdot Block in Ferozepur District. All school heads have also been asked to put up banners for the scheme on their respective premises as issued by the state government. The banners reading – “Changa School, Changa Bhavikh: Aao School Apnano” – have been devised to drive home the point of better education among students. Speaking to this correspondent, Jagseer Singh, DEO (SS) said, “In all 110 Senior Secondary and High Schools have been inspected by the team consisting five to eight members besides one member from the office”. He further said, the idea behind the inspection was to have a feedback for making further improvements to compete with the private sector schools and the team members were asked to meet the people before visiting the school and have their views after showing them the premises. DEO said, “Today is the last day of the inspection and final report will be sent to headuqaters after compilation.  The schools adjudged the best of the lot on aspects, including approach to the school, results, studies and other infrastructure by visiting teams will be honoured at a state-level function by the government. On this occasion, SMC Committee and School Headmistress Shivani Monga also apprised about the achievements of the school.  The Inspecting Team member Amit Narang inspected satisfactorily the school premises from cleanliness point of view, mid-day meal, classes, result register, library, and copies of the schools. Present among others on this occasion were, Sukhjit Singh Uppal, Chairman, SMC Committee, Gurmej Singh Sarpanch, Piara Singh ex-army personnel, Smt.Amarjit Kaur, Chetna, Parneet Kaur, Satveer Kaur, Paramjit Kaur, Varun Dhawan.
