Digital education through Tablets to boost standards in govt schools : ADC
Ferozepur, November 7, 2020: The distribution of tablets to the school students was started by handing over to 8 students by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Ferozepur Rajdeep Kaur today.
In his address in virtual meeting through a video conference, Capt Amarinder Singh, CM Punjab congratulated on the concluding day of Punjab Week celebrations. He said, Punjabi is our mother tongue and we all have to work for its promotion while having knowledge for the English language for competing at the global level.
CM also congratulated the education department for converting 8,000 in the state as Smart Schools and to make similar efforts for the remaining schools.
After the virtual event of dedicating of 1467 Smart Schools to the public and distribution of 2526 tablets to the students, Rajdeep Kaur, ADC handed over 8 tablets to the students to switch over to digital education. She said this would further boost the standards in government schools which had witnessed massive improvement in the education quality and performance in the past three years.
She also urged the teachers to inculcate the rich heritage of mother tongue and Punjabi culture in the children at the concluding function of Punjab Week adding only with your hard work our language and heritage can prosper.
