SSA & RMSA employees are waiting for regularization of service since 10 years

Ferozepur, March 1: How serious is Chief Minister Punjab – given a slogan of “Raj Nahi Sewa” – could be known from the fact that despite written assurance from the District Administration Bhatinda, none of the officer bothered to call members of Sarv Sikhya Abhiyan/RMSA Office Employees Union, causing inconvenience to them who had come from all over the State.

In a press release, Sarbjit Singh Turn, President and Rajinder Singh, Secretary said, a protest against the government was organized on February 17 at Bhatinda and SDM after talking to the Chief Minister on the spot, a meeting was fixed for February 27 at Chandigarh and written note to this effect was handed over the Union members .(Copy of which is available with babushahi.com).

Despite written assurance, neither the Chief Minister met them nor any initiative was taken by the Deputy Commissioner, Bhatinda.  The employees are being misguided and the government is not serious about their demands, said the Union leaders.

They said, the employees will resort to rallies and agitations in the state to expose the double standard face of the government.

The employees working under Sarv Sikhya Abhiyan (SSA) and Rashtriya Madhyam Sikhya Abhiyan (RMSA) are waiting for regularization of their services for the last ten years.

The other demands include implementation of pay scale to physiotherapist cadre from 1.4.2014, leave facility of SSA/RMSA employees at par with regular employees with special leave for six months with pay to female employees, amendment in pay scale given as per the meeting with CM and Dr.Daljit Sngh Cheema Education Minister on 2-9-14, 29-12-14 and 5-1-2015, as per the sanctioned posts of the Punjab Government.
