Despite lodging complaint at Punjab Police Help Line 181, no action by SHO
Ferozepur, December 29, 2017: In a bizarre incident of fissure among the real brother’s relations over ancestral landed property, the victim family even failed to get any relief by lodging complaint on 181 Help Line. Taking strong exception to non-action by the police, the victim family the victim family appeared before the media, on Friday, to get justice.
Giving the details of the incident at Press Club Ferozepur, Narain Singh son of Kulwant Singh resident of Kamboj Nagar, Ferozepur City said he is the only brother of three sisters and residing in a house at Dulchi Ke Road which his uncle has three sons.
He said on December 21, the sons of his uncle entered his house and started breaking doors, window panes etc. and on stopping them, they injured his father and sister on the head.
Narian Singh said when an application was given to the police after admitting them to the hospital, no action was taken by the police. But later on, when his uncle’s family members after few days admitted themselves to the hospital with fake injuries, the police registered a case against them in haste.
He further added that about three years back that one of his innocent and mentally retarded uncles is also missing and so far there is no clue about his whereabouts. It is also reported to be the handiwork of his uncle.
On the other hand, the police sources said, a case has been registered against both the parties and further investigations are on.
