DC Office Employees Union to gehrao Jalandhar Commissioner’s Office on April 10
Commissioner’s office is the main obstacle in the promotion policy : Union
Ferozepur, April 9, 2015: The agitation by one or other class in the state to register their protest for their genuine demands, look to be a failure on the part of the policy makers of the government of various departments.
In this context, the DC Office Employees Union have decided to gehrao Jalandhar’s Commissioner Office on April 10 as per the decision taken in the state level meeting held at Jalandhar on last Sunday.
The anti-employees attitude of the government was condemned in the meeting. The union has also take serious notice of dilly-dallying attitude of the government for non-implementation of agreed demands and decided to intensify the agitation.
In its state level meeting, the entire staff of DC offices will proceed on mass leave on April 10 to participate in the rally at Jalandhar and gehrao the Commissioner’s office.
The Union leader informed that there had been no meeting for the last three years to decide the promotion of Supdt. Grade I and the office of the Commissioner is the main obstacle in the promotion of Supdt. Grade II as Naib Tehsildar who have cleared the departmental test and this authority needs to be passed on to the Deputy Commissioners.
