DBEE holds Employment Camp in Ferozepur, 324 youths get placement
Ferozepur, February 14, 2023: District Bureau of Employment and Enterprises organized Employment Camp at Ferozepur for 12th and graduate pass out students for placement.
Divulging with details, Gurjant Singh Placement Officer said, in the recent camp on Monday, Axis Bank officers visited the DBEE for selection of candidates in which out of 101 candidates, 12 were short listed for placement as Relationship Officer, Sales Executive and Team Leader, who will be called for completing the other formalities, with an offer of Rs.2 lakh as CTC and incentive, for working on these posts.
PO further informed that in all during the current year 11 camps were organized in just 44 days, in which 324 candidates got the placement. He said, in the coming time also, such camps will be organized, to give opportunity to the youths of border district.
He further informed that during the period from April 22 to January 23, 48 placements camps were organized in which 69 employers participated with 4,287 vacancies while 2,533 candidates were short listed, in these camps. Giving the details about the last five years camps, he said in 2017-18, 1,516 were shorted listed or selected, in 2018-19 3,470, in 2019-20 6,082, 2020-21 11,609, in 202-22 6,868 and in 2021-22, 2,209 candidates. In all, in these five years, there were 216 camps, 633 employers visited with 67,460 vacancies while the participants were 57,212 with short listed and selected candidates as 31,754.
