43 Covid positive, one death reported
COVID-19: Ferozepur sees dip daily infections
Ferozepur, June 8, 2021: On the third consecutive day, the Ferozepur witnessed dip in Covid positive cases with 43 new cases, one death and 154 recovered, while 4 micro containment zones have been removed.
During the last three days, the positive cases reported are 78, 52, 47 and also fall in active cases was seen from 1056 to 751.
We must maintain this status at any cost by sacrificing over all other priorities to follow the guidelines by the health department, to wear masks, maintain social distance and washing hands frequently, said the health official.
As per the report, 1,84,905 samples were taken in the district, out of which 1,70,907 were tested negative, 13,362 positive, 12,191 recovered, 751 active cases.
With one deaths of 65 years female in Ferozshah block, the death tally has gone to 418 in the district.
Four micro containment zones have been removed – one from Gurharsahai, two in Kassonana and one from Ferozepur Urban and now three micro and 27 micro containment zones are under observations of health department.
Out of 8 Black Fungus cases reported, still five are under treatment at the hospital level while two have cured and one died.
