CJM reaches 19 border villages to listen to their problems
Sessions Judge reviews basic facilities at 19 villages of Ferozepur as aspirational district based on published news
Ferozepur, December 5, 2022: Taking cognizance of the news published in the newspaper, the District and Sessions Judge reviewed the 19 villages of Ferozepur as an aspirational district deprived of basic facilities. Ferozepur district has been selected as an aspirational district by the National Legal Services Authority Delhi. A total of 112 districts of India have been selected as aspirational districts out of which 2 districts of Punjab Moga and Ferozepur have been selected as aspirational districts.
The District and Sessions Judge formed a committee of officers of different departments along with CJM-cum-Secretary, District Legal Services Authority and ordered to visit 19 villages and inform the people about the schemes of Legal Literacy, Lok Adalats, Mediation Centre, Permanent Lok Adalat and NALSA. The Committee was also asked to listen to the problems and to submit its report so that the guidelines are issued to the various institutions to solve the related problems.
On this occasion, District and Sessions Judge specially mentioned these 19 villages Tendi Wala, Chandi Wala, Gatti Rajo Ke, Bhane Wala, Habib Wala, Jallo Ke, Bhakra, Hazare, Dona Mattar Hithar, Dona Mattar Utar, Basti Vallu Singh, Gajniwala, Bahadur K, Kamalewala, Nihalewala, Nihangwala, Kilcha, Palla Megha and other villages and ordered to resolve their legal problems and other problems
