Cine Star Nana Patekar  visits National Martyrs’ Memorial Hussainiwala

Ferozepur, January 16, 2018: On Monday, popular cine star Nana Patekar today paid the surprise visit to National Martyrs Memorial Hussainiwala suddenly and witnessed the retreat ceremony.

He said, we are proud of the jawans and I salute their sentiments of patriotism.

After paying floral tributes to Shaheed Bhagat Singh Rajguru and Sukhdev, Nana Patekar said, the martyrs are the capital of a nation and I cannot express in words the inner satisfaction I feel after paying tributes at the National Martyrs Memorial.

Earlier, he had paid obeisance at the Golden Temple and attended the BSF event.  The remarks recorded in the Visitor’s Book itself speak of his inner feeling – “It is a blessing that I had a chance to visit this place. I felt peace here. This place has incredible discipline. There is no discrimination on basis of caste or creed. If the country adopts the same philosophy, we will have golden days back.
