Capt challenged Kejriwal to name his party’s CM to prove his sincerity for Punjab
Ferozepur, January 27, 2017: Capt Amarinder Singh during his whirwind tour for election campaign today visited Ferozepur and addressed mammoth gathering at local grain market in Ferozepur cantonment area in support of Satkar Kaur Gehri – congress candidate from Ferozepur Rural constituency.
The other rival candidate are Joginder Singh Jindu, sitting MLA and Mohan Singh Phallianwala, AAP candidate – a two times MP on BSP seat.
Captain Amarinder flayed Kejriwal’s continued attempts to make a back-door entry to grab the chief ministerial post in Punjab without contesting the polls.
Questioning the integrity of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) to govern a state for which it is a complete outsider, Punjab Congress president Captain Amarinder Singh has once again challenged Arvind Kejriwal to name his party’s chief ministerial candidate to prove that he is sincere about the welfare of the people of Punjab.
Expressing his concern over the spate of farmers’ suicides in the state, Capt Amrinder Singh said, the small farmers’ loan will be waived off if Congress voted to power followed by number of new farmer-friendly schemes.
He said, the smart phones will also give to those who have booked on App. He also promised one-family one-job to the youths against the 35 lakh forms filled under the employment campaign started by the Congress and revival of industry to wean the youth away from drugs and bring Punjab back on the track of development.
Speaking on the drugs, Capt said, the drug menace will be wiped out within four week of Congress in power.
Talking about the false cases registered, Captain assured to cancel all such cases on forming of Congress government. During the tenure of Akali-BJP government, the poor labourer, employees and farmers have been the most affected.
Capt pointed out that the government don’t have funds to release the wages to its employees and so far the same has been released by selling the government properties.
Targeting Arvind Kejriwal, Chief Minister Delhi Government, Capt said, the Chief Minister, who could take care of Delhi people, how he would do anything for the people of Punjab.
Lambasting the Badals for destroying the state’s economy and now trying to divide the people through communal polarization, Captain Amarinder reiterated his vow to give a solid thrashing to Parkash Singh Badal in Lambi, where he chosen to contest only to teach the Badals a lesson.
In Ferozepur Rural assembly constituency, the Congress nominee Satkar Kaur said in the past about Akali sarpaches of as many as 60 villages have joined the Congress. She assured the people that the Congress would not spare any effort in bringing to book all those guilty of ruining Punjab.
