Cabinet Minister honours Dr.Vikas Mittal of Global Diagnostics on 69th Independence Day
Let us save the girl child for a better tomorrow: Dr.Navdeep Mittal
Ferozepur, August 17, 2015: On 69th Independence Day, Dr.Vikas Bansal was honoured by Janmeja Singh Sekhon, Cabinet Minister, Punjab in recognition of services of Global Diagnostics in the field of “Beti Bachao Beti Padhao”.
About 2 years back, Dr Vikas Bansal and Dr (Mrs) Navdeep Mittal started Global Diagnostics near old SDM office Ferozepur City with a view to provide quality diagnostic services to the public.
Joining hand in hand, they have worked hard to make their venture a success. They have also in mind the need for affordable services to the poor as well as need to educate them especially against female foeticide which they have been doing very successfully. Their services have been appreciated at this Independence Day function at Ferozepur for ” BETI BACHAO BETI PADHAO ” which of course shall encourage them to persue the cause with greater zeal .
Speaking to this correspondent,Dr. Vikas said “Our 3D/4D Ultrasounds are state of the art providing the highest degree of accuracy in real time and complete diagnostic information. We have provided our patients the best quality medical diagnostics for past 2 years. Our mantra is to offer the best diagnostics lab care in Firozpur and building long term relationships with our patients and their families regarding their diagnostics needs.
He further said, “Global diagnostics has facilities Ultrasound, Echo, ECG, Digital X-Ray, Color Doppler and all types of blood & urine investigations”.
Dr. (Mrs.) Navdeep also stated that “Ironically, female foeticide takes place in a country where people worship various forms of Goddesses, and where females are considered as Maa Laxmi’s incarnation and where young girls are worshipped and people touch their feet for blessings. But even then, the intentional killing of the girl child continues. Such is the double standards of our society. Right to education, health and empowerment are the fundamental rights of every Indian woman. The horrible illegal practice of female foeticide has to be stopped by harsh laws and change in the mind-set of the people.
Giving a message to the society, She said, Let us save the girl child for a better tomorrow!”
